My DAY

My day changes a bit each day because I am a self employed freelance composer. I normally wake up by 7:45 am. Sometimes I don't shower right at the start of the day, I definitely brush my teeth and wash my face because I am not a complete rouge. I do start of with a shower and all of that if I am taking meeting or working in house at a studio, which is normally 2 or 3 days a week. A lot of times I just go to the next room (my home studio) and start by catching up on emails and goofing off a bit on ichat and Facebook. The goofing off is my favorite part. Then i have to get to the real work. Composing music to film, Bounces stems to be mixed, making revisions and scheduling meetings for myself to maintain/gain business. I hate making revisions. A great day for me is a day that I focus only on "real" records. Music for artists. My weekends differ from my weekends only because my friends are not at their 9-5s and we can hang. But if a spot comes in with quick turn-around, sometimes i have to go back into my hole and compose away
